Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Supervision: Lead and supervise firefighting crews during emergency operations.
- Emergency Response: Assess fire situations and implement appropriate firefighting techniques.
- Training & Development: Oversee training programs for firefighting crew.
- Equipment & Maintenance: Ensure firefighting equipment is maintained, inspected, and ready for use.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed incident reports post-operations.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Public Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Certified Firefighter and Fire Officer certification (Fire Officer I or higher).
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Minimum 5 years of firefighting experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- In-depth knowledge of firefighting tactics and safety procedures.
- Ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
- Physical fitness to meet job demands.
